These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, services, advisory, and technology solutions provided by Kamate Group Ltd (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), located in Kampala, Uganda. By accessing kamategroup.co or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Introduction and Acceptance

Kamate Group Ltd provides travel advisory & documentation guidance services (“Travel Services”) and professional technology & software development solutions (“Tech Services”) (collectively, the “Services”). These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and the Company.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on our website and updating the “Effective Date” above. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Nature of Our Services & Important Disclaimers

Travel Services: We offer structured advisory, preparation guidance, document checklist assistance, and general information related to passports, visas, police clearance certificates, conventional travel documents (CTD) for refugees, flight bookings, and related processes. We are not a government agency, embassy, consulate, or official visa authority. We do not issue, approve, guarantee, or influence any official documents, visas, clearances, or government decisions.

Outcomes (approvals, rejections, processing times, fees) are solely determined by relevant authorities. We provide no warranties regarding success, timelines, or results.

Tech Services: We develop custom web/mobile applications, enterprise systems, automation tools, AI integrations, and scalable digital platforms. Services are provided on a best-effort professional basis per agreed scope. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes, revenue, or uninterrupted performance.

3. Eligibility & User Obligations

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use our Services. You agree to provide accurate information and comply with all applicable laws.

You shall not: (i) misuse our Services, (ii) attempt unauthorized access, (iii) transmit harmful code, or (iv) infringe third-party rights.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on our website (text, designs, logos) is owned by or licensed to Kamate Group Ltd and protected by copyright and other laws.

For Tech Services: Unless otherwise agreed in a separate contract, upon full payment, we assign ownership of custom deliverables (source code, designs) to you. We retain rights to pre-existing tools, libraries, frameworks, and general methodologies.

5. Payments & Fees

Fees (if any) will be clearly communicated before engagement. Some Services may be free or introductory. We reserve the right to introduce or change fees with notice.

Payments are non-refundable except as expressly stated in a specific agreement.

6. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement).
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost profits, data loss, travel denials, business interruption) arising from or related to the Services.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or UGX 1,000,000 if no payment was made).
  • We are not liable for government decisions, visa/approval outcomes, third-party actions, force majeure events, or your misuse of advice/information.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Services at any time for violation of these Terms, illegal activity, or at our discretion with or without notice.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Kampala, Uganda.

You agree to first attempt informal resolution by contacting us before pursuing legal action.
